WELCOME TO MEREPARK MEDICAL CENTRE
The Doctors, nurses and staff at the Medical Centre aim to provide their services as efficiently and as caringly as possible. We are a small to medium sized practice and feel we can continue to offer the personal/family doctor approach to looking after our patients.
This site contains a lot of useful information on how to make best use of our services and help the Doctors to help you. Our staff will try to help you with any enquiries you may have about yourself or the Medical Centre services.
In October 2008 we moved to a purpose built ‘One stop’ Health Centre which incorporates other services including physiotherapy, pharmacy, community dentistry and other attached staff. There will also be some outreach clinics from hospital based consultants/services. Merepark Medical Centre occupies most of the right hand side of the building, nearly all our patient services being on the ground floor.
As part of the Central and Eastern Cheshire Primary Care Trust, we are encouraged to prescribe cost effectively to make sure that the budget goes further.
We are involved in training medical students who, with your permission, may ‘sit in’ with consultations with the Doctors, nurses or attached staff.
If you wish to register with a doctor, please ask at reception for a form. If the practice is unable to accept you onto the list, we will let you know and give our reasons.
If you wish to leave a message for someone at the practice, you can contact us by email contact.merepark@nhs.net, but please note that we currently cannot accept clinical or urgent/confidential enquiries, e.g. we can send out general information but not test results, accept appointment cancellations but not bookings. Book’ system which allows you to select from a choice of hospitals, usually local,
but you can go further afield. You can then book an outpatient appointment yourself
