PHARMACY MINOR AILMENT SCHEME

Our local Chemists are all able to offer effective advice and treatment for certain minor ailments, e.g. conjunctivitis, cystitis / urinary tract infection, thrush , head lice, hay fever and when appropriate, can dispense drugs at the standard prescription cost (free if exempt).

LOCAL CHEMISTS

There is a Co-Operative pharmacy based in the Health Centre, which is open until 6.30pm Monday to Friday, except Wednesday.  Other local chemists are Lloyds and in the Co-op store.

Late Duty Chemist: The Co-op is open until 6.30pm on Monday to Friday, and on Saturdays until 5.30pm.  The chemist in Tesco, Kidsgrove is open until 8pm Monday to Saturday.

Sunday Rota: One of the local chemists is open 11.00am-12.00 noon.  (The chemist within Tesco at Kidsgrove is open 10.00am-4.00pm).  One of the Sandbach Chemists is open 6.00pm-7.00pm.  Details are available in the local press – The Chronicle and from NHS Direct (0845 4647
