PHARMACY MINOR AILMENT SCHEME

 

Our local Chemists are all able to offer effective advice and treatment for certain minor ailments, e.g. conjunctivitis, cystitis / urinary tract infection, thrush , head lice, hay fever and when appropriate, can dispense drugs at the standard prescription cost (free if exempt).

 

LOCAL CHEMISTS

 

There is a Co-Operative pharmacy based in the Health Centre, and this is open:

9.00am - 6.30pm Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday

9.00am - 5.00pm Wednesday

There is also a Co-Operative pharmacy within the Co-Op store which is open on Saturdays from 9.00am - 12:00 midday and until 5.00pm Monday to Friday.

 

Lloyds chemist on Lawton Road is open:

8.15am - 6.30pm Monday to Friday

9.00am - 5.00pm Saturday

 

Late Duty Chemist:

The chemist in Tesco at Kidsgrove is open from 8.00am until 8.00pm Monday to Saturday and on Sunday from 10.00am - 4.00pm.

The chemist within Morrisons in the Festival Park shopping area in Stoke is also open until 8.00pm on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, 7.00pm on Mondays, Saturday until 6.00pm and Sunday from 10.00am to 4.00pm

 

Sunday Rota: Due to lack of demand, from December 2010 there will no longer be a pharmacy open in Alsager on Sundays but one of the Sandbach Chemists is open 6.00pm-7.00pm.
