MEREPARK PATIENT PANEL

The patient panel consists of 10-12 patients who aim to represent the views of Merepark patients and offer a two-way channel to communicate between the practice and patients so that we can respond and fine-tune our care.

You can contact the patient panel via email address mereparkpatientpanel@live.co.uk or through the medical centre.  They have a notice board and mailbox in reception, which is opened only by a member of the panel.

The Merepark Medical Centre Patient Panel is a member of the National Association of Patient Participation Groups.

Aims of the Patient Panel:

- To help to promote the practice and the services that are offered

- To provide feedback to the practice from the general patient population on the positive aspects of the services together with suggestions for improvement.

- To help survey the patient population

- To provide feedback to the general patient population on services offered, survey results, developments and changes.

- To ensure that contributions are as representative of as many patients and the public as possible and are positive, encouraging and objective

Would you like to be involved?

Every member of the panel must be a registered patient at Merepark Medical Centre but the group is entirely independent.  If you would like to be involved when a vacancy is available, please email mereparkpatientpanel@ live.co.uk or leave a message in the mailbox in reception.

How much time is involved?

The Patient Panel usually has a regular monthly meeting on Wednesday morning at Alsager Health Centre, but we realise that people have other commitments and may not be able to attend every meeting.

Any work undertaken by the panel members is by consensus.
